The National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA) And AH Consulting Strengthen Collaboration On Sierra Leone’s Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) Implementation

Freetown, 13th May 2026 — The Director of AH Consulting, Mr. Herbert Rwamibazi, on Tuesday 12th May, 2026 paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Executive Officer of the National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA), Mr. Fodie J. Konneh, as part of ongoing efforts geared towards strengthening collaboration in the implementation of Sierra Leone’s Electronic Government Procurement (E-GP) system.

The engagement focused on deepening institutional cooperation, reviewing implementation progress, and discussing strategic approaches aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of public procurement processes across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

Speaking during the engagement, NPPA CEO Mr. Fodie J. Konneh reaffirmed Government’s unwavering commitment to modernizing Sierra Leone’s public procurement architecture through technology-driven reforms that promote transparency, accountability, efficiency and value for money in public service delivery.

Mr. Konneh emphasized that the successful implementation of the E-GP platform remains one of the Authority’s flagship reform priorities, noting that the initiative aligns with His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio’s Big Five Game Changers agenda, particularly in the area of Technology and Infrastructure Development. He further highlighted that the digitization of procurement processes will significantly reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks, enhance competition, improve public trust, and strengthen oversight mechanisms within the procurement ecosystem.

The NPPA CEO commended AH Consulting for its technical expertise and continued support towards the implementation of the E-GP initiative, describing the partnership as timely and strategic in advancing Sierra Leone’s broader digital governance aspirations.
